It's a common misconception that CBD will get you high. However, this isn't the case. Although it all comes from the same family of plants, the raw material used in your CBD oil, gummies etc. is most often obtained from cannabinoid-rich hemp. This is to ensure that the THC content is below the legal limit of 0.2%.
For the vast majority of people, CBD is entirely safe to take. It's extremely difficult to take a dose that would be deemed harmful to yourself however, we still advise to stick with a maximum intake of 70mg daily.
If pregnant, we would advise that you should hold off on use of CBD until a later date. Another thing to watch for with CBD is the interactions it could have with other medications. Most are fine to use side-by-side however, some are a no go.
You can use the below URL to check your medications against 'cannabidiol' for interactions. https://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html
